Recent Observations of the Tech Industry

Haven't posted in a while. There has been NOTHING to post about.

But I guess I could vent on one thing.

One thing.

Carriers are driving me insane. Why aren't carriers interested in the consumers. They're only interested in the amount of money they can get. If you know me you know I love technology. But I also love USING technology. I'm not the type of person to shell out thousands of dollars a year just to own technology. It's not right. It's not fair. It's bullying. I'm willing to pay for technology, but not those prices. The phones shouldn't even be worth that much either. They're tenths the size of computers, yet just as, or more, expensive. That doesn't make sense. The business side of the tech industry is too much. How come there are no patents on the computer but Apple can have a patent on rectangles! How can expanding profits mean hurting others. It's Business Ethics, and it's not done right in this industry.

Vent Over.

But it's not, and it can never be. I spend a lot of time taking problems I encounter in my life and trying to find solutions for them. But for this one? For the life of me I can't find a solution to this problem. It's greed, and it's in our DNA. The human species can never completely extinguish greed. And for as long as it lives, the human species will never be at peace.
