Wow what a great day! Being in the SLC today was so great for my hyper excited behavior.
The message was the perfect one - be involved, be happy, enjoy - it's a great theme for the year. We lack community and I think we started off really well!
As for my personal day? Wow did I miss my friends! It was great to see everyone again and great to catch up too. I have great classes and teachers. From Computer Science to IB's to English, I think I'll look forward to every day.
My chemistry teacher is starting something new and I'm really looking forward to it. He's known for working really hard for us so he's been asked to try to teach a flipped class. Where we do the learning as homework and then we have a more applied approach in the class. Being an IB 30 class this'll be a lot of work but I think it'll also be very entertaining and interesting.
Being a Senior feels so different, there were several instances in prior years where I looked for older peers for advice and knowledge. Now being the older peers, having others look onto us feels very different. I like it.
