There is an article from Bleacher Report called "3 Potential Rebuilding Models for Danny Ainge to Follow". It goes over the models that the Rockets, Thunder and the Nuggets used to rebuild their teams.
And thinking about it I'd really like to make a new one. I don't believe we could do the Thunder's or Nuggets model outright. Having Rondo keeps us too good to be at the bottom and trading him is not an option (imo). I do however believe in the Rocket's system outright, but since Boston isn't a very big market I don't think it would help to bring great players here through free agency.
But Brad Stevens is an analytic guy right? So lets think analytically. Of the three teams the Nuggets had the best regular season strategy and only failed in the playoffs because of bad execution and coaching adjustments, the Thunder are having too much trouble keeping their top-ten talent players around, and though the Rockets are unproven for now they too may run into trouble with keeping their superstars or their supporting cast around.
Of those three the Nuggets are obviously the best off. When you take that good and capable talent and have it surround Rondo, you can have a team that really works wonders. Look at this clip that OfficialCelticsHD made of Rondo getting Chris Wilcox to look awesome and Wilcox is hardly a great player.
The system makes sense:
This may not be a very traditional way of doing things (or very Celtic Loyal) but remember each cycle would be at least 3-4 years depending on the contracts. The Spurs have loosely done this (trading Hill for Leonard). And we can always keep certain players that turn into franchise players for us in their 4ish years in Boston.
I doubt Boston will do this but Bradley's contract is nearing it's end - maybe we'll see exactly this. Or nothing like it.

The system makes sense:
- >Have a bunch of talent
- >Trade the talent for more talent and draft picks
- >Develop the new talent to fit our system and have high value
- >>Repeat process.
