Summer 2014 - Day 2

Things are still moving fast, but not as fast - the world is noticeably slowing down around me.

The good

  • Yesterday it seemed like I had a long way to go to get started at work, but now the goals set for me look very reasonable. I can do this. I got started on ionic's tutorial apps and sure I have a lot to learn but in two days I'm happy with my progress.
  • Google and Intel's (mostly Intel's) Chromebook conference this afternoon was awesome. Looks like those new Bay Trail Processors are exactly what I've been waiting all this time for.
  • "How to make people like you"
The bad
  • I left work an hour early today. I don't even know why. It was 4:15 and I thought to myself, the train is at 4:45, except that I've planned to take the 5:45 train. Oops. For tomorrow I'm going to start packing up at 5:00 and then I'll have a nice casual time to catch the 5:45 instead of the rush I went through the past few days.
The ugly
  • My quads!! They hurt so much, looks like I over worked them on yesterdays run. I'm not really used to running on solid ground so that's why. I went walking with Ajjoba (Grandpa) today instead.
