Summer 2014 - Day Twentynine

battle of fog wind and sun
It’s a mysterious morning in the wood as the fogs settled in
Fog dances with the wind through the trees twirling
A hazy white blanket diffusing scattering the light
Everything looks so different tricking your sight
The sun rays pours down breaking through the trees canopy
Linear streaks of light highlighting objects we see
Mysterious fog plays with the light as things it conceals
So when you are only near objects magically reappear
Strange shaped shadows jump out from the teasing mist
And twigs and objects appear that at first you did miss
The gloomy cold fog tries hard to hide the light of the new day
But the darkness and mystery it brings is not there to stay
The wind helps the sun to blow the mist from our sight
And wind sun versus the fog start their regular teasing fight
As normal the fog slowly loses, thins to a light haze in the air
Going patchy with little dancing wisps here and there
The light and the wind always it wins afterall
But the fog would just quickly disappear from us all
But look closely he left a present from his newly departed mist
On foliage are water jewel droplets where it gently kissed
It was so foggy this morning I included this poem I found.
Here's a picture of the CN tower pretending to be Godzilla.
The good:
  • Got to my 300 calories at the gym but boy did I struggle with it. Today I ran as hard as I could and then I got into a groove of 10 calories a minute, which is pretty slow and pans out to 30 minutes of running to get my 300 calories. I think I need to think about it like that though, calories per minute instead of calories per run. Breaking it down is easier mentally. There's a book called "Power of Now" that goes over this.
  • Finally re-upped production on my app. I stopped trying to bug-fix for the first time in two weeks and I feel accomplished now. I re-implemented the map section of the app and I added two new features to it! One is a Find Me feature that basically places a marker where you are currently. And the other is a Follow Me feature that basically is the same thing but is designed to keep updating after an allotted time.
  • The shirts I bought on the weekend are size medium, and I honestly think its a huge upgrade. I lost a bunch of fat and I filled in my upper body, the shirts fit so well.
  • I love the Celtics management, in terms of the draft. They've been consistently making smart picks: Kelly Olynyk, Jared Sullinger, Marshon Brooks and Avery Bradley. These have been our first pick in the last four drafts (since we started to decline) and only Marshon Brooks didn't pan out.  That's pretty impressive. Jared and Kelly especially both have similar traits: smarts, vision and attitude. With all the rumors it looks like the team is going to continue with this trend, and I honestly can't be happier.
  • I use Sublime Text for my editor for my app and today I found all it's themes. I don't know how I lived for the past four weeks. I mean the default is okay, BUT SUNBURST MAN.
The bad:
  • I just realized how ugly my blog looks. I really need to prettify it.
  • I also need to add captions on all the photo's I've taken. I've only been adding them to the blog so they aren't getting their due diligence on Google+. You'll see them all in one place when I release my Google+ Story about my summer. Maybe I should do that now and it'll update as I go. Yeah that's a better idea.
The ugly:
  • TIME FLYS SO FAST, I SWEAR IT WAS ONLY 9PM HOW IS IT 10 ALREADY!!
