The end of Winter Break

Today is the last day of the break, tomorrow we start school again. And the most interesting thing I can think of (regarding school) is that even though this is a beginning, these next seven school days are a close. I really don't appreciate that the semester doesn't end before the winter break.

Going back to school this time around means getting back into rhythm but also finishing off the semester, taking a look at how far I've come in all of my classes and taking a look into what all is left, makes me somewhat happy.

  • Period One: Computer Science 20: I've learnt a lot in my first time programming and I'm really thankful I took the class. I really like the software lifestyle and I love the problem solving.

  • Period Two: Chemistry 30: This has really been a learning experience. I've had to work hard at this one. With a new teacher and tough learning curve I have to admit I struggled. But I learnt some tricks during the winter break and I feel I can keep well for the second half of this year long course.

  • Period Three: Physics 30 & Biology 30: Both courses alternate so really we're only half a semester into both, I don't have a similar judgement here that I have with Chemistry. Both courses are very different and I love learning in them. I have a bad feeling about the second half of the Physics course though, not sure why.

  • Period Four: Calculus: I must say I really enjoy this class. The teacher is great, and I love what I'm learning. There isn't much of the curriculum left though, so I'm expecting this next part to be more challenging and difficult.

  • Period Five: English B30: Apart from being my most numbing class, it's also one that challenges me, the course is all about defining the world around me and I'm really enjoying doing so. I might miss this class in the new semester.

I most likely won't be blogging until the new semester. Until then,
