Summer 2014 - Day Seventeen

XMEN TOMORROW AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Two weeks ago I wasn't even that excited for this movie and two months ago I was yawning at it, but this will be my first movie in Toronto and even if it's not worth the hype, I'm going to enjoy the experience anyway. I can't wait.

The good:

  • My legs hurt, my gluts and my quads and my hammy. I love it.
  • The weather, so good. No dark clouds, bright sun.
  • The new trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy. Didn't get me jumping up and down like the first one but definitely got me wondering about it. I really can't wait for this one

  • Spurs Offense and philosophy, wow it makes me drool. I hope Danny and Brad implement something similar in the next decade for the Celtics.

The bad:
  • No gym today, I forgot to take a gym shirt to sweat in. It got compensated though, I had to build iKea desks at work today - quite the sufficient workout.
  • So because of our lousy Draft position (stupid Cavs), Celtics bloggers everywhere are wondering what to do with our #6 Draft pick. I decided that it's best to trade down. Trading with the Hornets at the ninth spot for example, I wonder how much it would take to get Kidd-Gilchrist? However, when all is said and done, in Danny I trust.
The ugly:
  • Ajjoba's jokes, seriously terrible.
Pictures from the Day
Yesterday(?) I took a picture of the Russel Peters star, this is the Theatre they're outside of, The Prince of Wales Theatre. It's called that for three reasons, it recalls the Princess Theatre, Toronto's first "first-class legitimate" playhouse, that once stood three blocks to the east; it honours Diana, Princess of Wales, with whose consent the theatre was so-named; and it links the building to its sister theatre, the Royal Alexandra, one block to the east, also named - with Royal assent - for a former Princess of Wales. It was built in 1991 and hosts plays and musicals; currently it is featuring the Lion King Musical.

This is a cool shot of TDOT's skyline I caught from the train. All those splotches are from the incredibly dirty train windows, I think my editing helped but I don't think it's a very good shot. If only I had a better cameraphone................. :D
